How many of you artsits or inspiring artists use drugs regulary? why? how bad? are you addicted?

just to clarify i didn't meant specifically for art, i meant for escaping the artists mind, dealing with life, etc.

no drugs except alcohol. and i prefer being sober when im shooting.

I have a rule to be sober in the studio. I have damaged cameras over drunken accidents. Truth is I love my shooting more than I love the buzz.

I used to use drugs regularily [for what reason, I'm still attempting to discern] but not anymore, it just wasn't worth risking so much for something so small.

I drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes (when I'm drunk usually) and smoke pot from time to time. But not when I've got obligations, only afterwards.

I used to think weed made you more creative.. haha

now I think thats just bullshit. However, I think everyone needs to get properly wasted now and then, either its with alcohol, weed or some other drug of your choice. But tanken over long periods.. well I just get depressed.. and that can be good, I have manged to feed on those feelings.. but I don't want to stay there, it's better to try and get in that mood without the use of drugs. C'mon, celebrate life everyone!
